Free responsive search ad copy tool

Google Ads headline & description generator

Turn your business, offer, audience, primary keyword and genuine differentiators into editable responsive search ad headline and description ideas.

0 headlines · 0 descriptions

Enter a business, offer or primary keyword to generate editable ad-copy ideas.

Start with accurate inputs, then apply human judgement.

The generator works in your browser and uses the information you enter to assemble copy ideas within common responsive search ad limits. It does not send your inputs to us, check every advertising policy, predict Ad Strength or guarantee approval or performance. Review every claim against the landing page and evidence.

  1. 01

    Enter clean inputs

Use values from the same campaign, platform and reporting period so the result answers one clear question.

  2. 02

    Check the output

Treat the calculation or formatted list as a working aid. Review the source data, naming and campaign context before using it.

  3. 03

    Save the decision

Copy the result into the campaign plan or reporting note together with the date, data source and any important limitation.

Use the number in context.

These notes explain what the calculation means, how to reproduce it and where a simple metric can become misleading.

Build responsive search ad assets that can combine

Responsive search ads may show assets in different combinations and orders. Give each headline or description a useful standalone meaning, cover different parts of the decision and avoid repeating the same claim in every asset.

Useful asset mix = keyword relevance + offer + proof + benefit + clear next step

A practical ad-copy workflow

Enter the actual service, audience and search theme. Add only benefits the business can prove. Generate a draft, remove weak repetition, check that the first three headlines can make sense together, then test the final set in the existing responsive search ad checker.

Common mistakes to avoid

  • Publishing generated claims without verifying that the business and landing page can support them.
  • Repeating the same keyword or benefit across most assets instead of covering different customer questions.
  • Writing headlines that only make sense in one fixed order even though Google may recombine them.
  • Treating character-limit compliance as proof of policy compliance, relevance or performance.

Google Ads headline & description generator FAQs

How many Google Ads headlines can I add?

Google currently allows up to 15 headlines in a responsive search ad, with at least three required when creating the ad.

What are the Google Ads headline and description limits?

Responsive search ad headline fields support up to 30 characters and description fields support up to 90 characters. Double-width languages can be counted differently.

Does this generator use AI or send my information anywhere?

No. This version combines your inputs locally in the browser. The information entered into the tool is not sent to Jet Fuel Digital.

Will generated ads be approved by Google?

Not necessarily. Character limits are only one requirement. Advertisers remain responsible for accuracy, policy compliance, legal requirements, the destination and available offers.

Should every headline contain the keyword?

No. Include relevant search language where it reads naturally, then use other assets for the offer, differentiators, proof and next step. Excessive repetition reduces the usefulness of the asset set.
